Somerset Bowel Cancer Charity hold an annual event, usually in the Autumn.
This is an opportunity for individuals who have been diagnosed with bowel cancer to meet for mutual support. Family members/loved ones are very welcome to attend. Healthcare professionals come to talk about various aspect of bowel cancer. This can include dietary advice, ways to reduce the risk of getting bowel cancer and the kind of support that is available in Somerset. A buffet lunch is provided and there is an opportunity to ask questions in a safe and supportive environment.
